Peter is the founder and director of Forestry Services Ltd. A qualified forester, he has previously managed some of Irelands largest state forests on behalf of the Department of Agriculture. He was appointed to manage Irelands largest state owned saw mill in 1974, a position he held for 4 years at which point he left to set up Dundrum Nurseries.

This nursery is now one of the largest wholesale and retail nurseries in Ireland employing up to 100 people. His other business interests include a share in one of the largest Ash hurley making facilities in Ireland. His most recent venture involves the development of eco friendly log fuels to service an expanding market. These ventures have been taken in conjunction with the other directors of Forestry Services. Peter is one of the largest private forestry owners in Ireland, and is area manager for the Munster and Midland region.

Paddy Bruton

Paddy graduated from UCD with an honours degree in Agricultural Science, majoring in forestry in 1997. He worked in the private sector for three years before joining the state advisory service, Teagasc, where he was employed as both a forestry specalist and lecturer at its sole forestry training centre.

Headhunted by Forestry Services Ltd. in 2002, he has led the expansion of the companys core business while leading the companys investment strategy in forestry in both Ireland and Estonia. He is a director in Forestry Services Ltd and all subsidiary operations. He is area manager for the Eastern region. He has built up a private land and forestry portfolio in recent years. Paddy is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters of America.

Adam Gordon

Adam, from north Mayo and from a farming background studied Forestry Management in GMIT and then went on to graduate from UCD with a degree in Forestry in 2008. Adam is responsible for the expansion of Forestry Services Ltd harvesting operations nationwide through its subsidiary Forwood Forestry Ltd.

Dermot Slevin

Dermot, a farmers son from Donegal, is a graduate of Agricultural science majoring in Forestry from UCD. He has worked in Scotland and all over Ireland. He is Area manager for the North-West region.

Tadhg Dooley

Tadhg is from a farming background and has a master in forestry from UCD. Tadhg is responsible for sales, development and forest operations in the midland region. He also has the responsibility for the sales and day-to-day running of the hurley and wood fuel sections of the company.

Rita Fahy

Rita Fahey, a native of Tipperary with 20 years business experience and a degree in Personnel management is the office manager. Excellent in IT, Rita manages the companys cash flow and accounting system , which incorporates a fully integrated cost and revenue reporting system. She also maintains all relevant C2 and RCT Revenue commissioner records for subcontractors. With the company since 2006, Rita maintains an up to date knowledge of all client files and has become the first point of contact for client queries.
