Red Squirrel Logs Ltd. has been established to answer the demand for sustainable, Eco friendly fuels that can replace fossil fuels such as coal, briquettes and oil. Red Squirrel Logs Ltd. is ideally situated to provide and source timber for this increasing fuel market through Forestry Services Ltd. large portfolio of existing clients.

Red Squirrel Logs Ltd. distributes packaged timber to the domestic market place and is presenting to the market for the first time a consistent, easy to handle variety of timber fuels at low moisture contents. A feasibility study in conjunction with Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) and Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) has been carried out. This study has established that the production of high quality timber fuels for the domestic market for use in solid fuel burners/boilers and gasification boilers is sustainable.

4. Hardwood barbeque bags

5. Eco-fuel convenience bags

The net bags of dried hardwood can be for use under any conditions, as they are safe and do not create a sparking hazard. The net bags of dried conifers are presented in clearly marked bags for use in enclosed stoves and boilers only. The Eco-fuel convenience bag is a ready-made wood fire in a bag, which is clean and easy to light.

The Eco-fuel convenience bag and Hardwood barbeque bag are mainly made up of residue ash from Sar Caman Teo’s hurley production.
